Understanding the Meaning of Islam

Understanding the Meaning of Islam - Most of us (Indonesian people) generally alhamdulillah born in the midst of the Muslim ummah, so it is not difficult for us to become Muslim. As such psychological theories about the environment ( allo plastic ) have great influence on the formation of personal, karaketr and including the belief in a religion. Where the environment affects the individual, although there are theories that oppose it ( auto plastic ) where the individual can affect the environment. But this is certainly very rare, like a reformer or lightening as guardians, prophets and apostles and other great leaders.

Have we ever thought, when he was born in the woods, among the primitive tribes who do not know about religion? We also certainly a way of life most people would like people around us, because the demands of adaptation that makes us continue to survive to make the formation of physical changes, personality to the level of confidence in our psychology and metaphysics, including the religious and the divine.
Back on the topic of this article, namely to understand the meaning of Islam. With this was born has become a Muslim, of course there should exist among us who wonder about how the real Islam? or like what is Islam?
Here I cite only a few hadith narrated by Muslim, the story of a man who asked the same thing to the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
The following quotation:
Umar bin Khattab ra. said,
"Once we (the friends) sat near the Prophet. Suddenly appeared to us a man wearing a very white and very black hair. No visible signs of her former course, and no one among us who knew him.
He immediately sat down in front of him, then leaned on his knees and put both knees prophet hands on the thigh of the Prophet, then he said,
'O Muhammad! Tell me about Islam '.
Messenger of Allah. replied,
'Islam is thou testify there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establish prayer, pay the obligatory charity, fasting during Ramadan and you go for Hajj to the House if you have been able to do it'.
The man said, 'You are right'.
So we wonder: he is asked he also justify it.
Then he asked again, 'Tell me a challenge of faith '.
The Prophet replied, 'Faith is you believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, His Apostles, the final day and believe in destiny God is good and bad'.
He said, 'You are right'.
He asked again, 'Tell me about ihsan . "
He said, 'You are to worship Allah as though you see Him, even if you do not see Him, but He sees. "
The man said again, 'Tell me when the Apocalypse. "
He said, 'Who asked no more knowledge than the questioner. "
He then asked, 'Tell me about the signs! "
The Prophet replied, 'If a slave woman had given birth to her master, if you see people who are barefoot, without wearing clothes (poor dad) and goat herders have competed with each other in building the towering majestic. "
Then the man quickly left. I was speechless until he asked me, 'O Umar, do you know who said that? " I said, 'Allah and His Messenger know best. "
He said, 'It was Gabriel who taught you about your religion.' "(Hadith narrated by Muslim)
